Ponte de Wendy’s / Wendy’s

Summer in Monterrey can get extremely hot, with temperatures reaching up to 45°C, which puts most people in a bad mood. That’s where we found our opportunity.

Playing on the Spanish wordplay, “Ponte de Wendy’s” (which means both “Put on your Wendy’s attitude” and “Cool down with Wendy’s”), we launched a series of activations to help our customers cool off, handing out Frostys when they were stuck in traffic on the hottest days of the year.

Additionally, we created a microsite inviting people to “Ponerse de Wendy’s” with a coupon system for redeeming ice creams and ran a social media campaign to amplify the efforts. Over 5,000 ice creams were distributed, amplifying the action on social media with a total reach of more than 850,000 people.
